Jackson Fussell
For Hogansville City Council – Post 1
A Platform Built on Service, Unity, and Growth
The Leadership Our City Needs
Jackson Fussell is a lifelong Georgian who chose Hogansville as the place to build his family and future. As a dedicated teacher and community volunteer, he brings both professional leadership skills and a heart for service. His platform is rooted in transparency, unity, and sustainable growth, from revitalizing downtown and supporting local businesses to strengthening infrastructure for the future. Jackson is committed to listening with an open heart and working tirelessly to ensure every voice in Hogansville is heard.
Integrity & Trust
I believe the strength of our city begins with open communication and accountability. Every decision made by the City Council must remain clear, accessible, and rooted in what best serves the people of Hogansville. I commit to keeping citizens informed, heard, and involved in shaping our future. Community trust in elected government comes in many forms, all of which start with open access to public meetings, resources, and records that allow total transparency in each and every avenue of government action.
Community Involvement
Hogansville thrives when every citizen’s voice carries value. The best solutions emerge when we work together. I shall continue creating opportunities for every resident, across neighborhoods, backgrounds, and experiences, to participate in shaping the direction of our city.
Unity Across Our Community
Hogansville holds a rich history and a bright promise for the future. By bringing together everyone in our great community, we can continue on our storied tradition, and everything that we value and every reason why we feel pride in calling Hogansville home.
Supporting and Growing with Local Businesses
Local businesses form the backbone of Hogansville’s character and economy. To strengthen them, we must create opportunities for citizens to shop locally by hosting community events and initiatives that draw people into our stores, restaurants, and our historical hotel. At the same time, we must work to attract new businesses that complement our city’s goal of growth and sustainability as well as provide jobs for our residents. These policies will generate opportunities to continue the growth of our local economy.
Revitalizing Downtown
Our downtown tells the story of Hogansville’s past and our greatest strength for the future. Empty and underused buildings represent untapped potential. We must restore and revitalize these spaces. Turning these unoccupied store fronts into thriving businesses will continue to grow our community into a bustling hub of employment opportunity.
Supporting What Makes Hogansville Special
From the historic Royal Theatre to the dedicated people at Hogansville Elementary, our city gives us much to celebrate. I will continue to work to preserve, promote, and build upon these strengths.
Public Works & Community Growth
As our community continues to experience exponential growth we have to keep pace with it. That means strengthening our roads, utilities, public spaces, and essential services so we welcome growth responsibly while protecting the charm and quality of life we all cherish.
City Investment
Long term sustainability rests squarely on the foundation of good decision making. Doing so requires solids facts coupled with a long-term vision. Investing in a better future for our community starts with hiring the best qualified candidates for city jobs by paying fair wages to attract top talent. Next, building solid infrastructure that will last for the long term reduces costs to the city in maintenance and repair. Finally, reducing the bureaucratic burden to start and grow new business ventures will further entice more families to make their home in Hogansville.
My Commitment
I will ensure every voice is heard, listen with an open heart, and work tirelessly for the people of Hogansville. Together, we will grow stronger.
